Babis is a Greece-based filmmaker and photographer specializing in travel, lifestyle and commercial content. Originally an electrical engineer, Babis transformed his passion for visual storytelling into a career, bringing his signature cinematic style and focus on storytelling to global brands that share his love for travel, adventure, and sustainability.

Besides being a judge for the Beyond the Frame video competition, Babis was also kind enough to create some exciting educational content, to educate and inspire the video competition participants.

• The Rig Shot – He mounts the camera to an object using an articulating arm, keeping the object steady in the frame while the background moves, creating a dynamic look.
• The Snorricam Shot – The camera is attached directly to a person, keeping them centered in the frame as they move, for an immersive, first-person feel.
• The Top-Down Shot – The camera is positioned directly overhead, offering a unique and visually interesting perspective.
